HANSFORD ROWE - ALLAN HOLDSWORTH COMPILATION BUNDLE (DOWNLOAD MP3)

$8.99

This downloadable bundle is available in MP3 format with links to both WAV and High Resolution 96kHz 24Bit Files as well as cover art. All tracks newly remastered.

TRACK 1 & 2: EARTH featuring Allan Holdsworth, Jimmy Johnson (bass), and Virgil Donati (drums/composer), from Allan’s Tales from the Vault PledgeMusic campaign — executive produced by John McCracken. Notably, this was the last official recording released by Allan before his passing in 2017. The bundle features two versions of the track: one with solos and one without.

TRACK 3:  ALLAN QUI from Suffer by Gongzilla — a long-standing collaboration between Hansford and guitarist Bon Lozaga. This track features an extensive solo from Allan and a great example of Just Intonation from Hansford.

TRACK 4: THREE BLIND MICE is a rare live performance recorded in Europe by Pierre Moerlen’s Gong, featuring Hansford and Allan. This performance offers a fascinating glimpse into an earlier stage of Allan’s musical evolution, with a slightly different tone and a more rock-oriented edge to his playing.
